2nd visit to the gay church
Although it was super hard to get out of bed this morning, I forced myself to get up and visit the “gay church” again.  This time I was joined by several students that attend the college where I work.  They decided to take a road trip and visit the church - there were about 15 of them altogether. In my explanation to them on what the church was like I said, “it’s just like...

"Christian faith compatible with diversity"
This is a fantastic article written by Kevin Heim, a junior at Belmont University. Belmont University recently added “sexual orientation” to their non-discrimination policy after a media firestorm over the firing of their women’s soccer coach, who is a lesbian. A big voice in the emergent church revolution happening in the...

My soul is stirring...
I’m sitting here listening to the first album release by Jennifer Knapp (Kansas, 1997). I am so excited that in less than a month, I will get to meet her and talk to her about what her music has meant to me over the years.  The words to some of the songs in Kansas still cut me right to the core…just as they did 14 years ago.  Her music is pure and her lyrics are raw and unassuming....
